MOULAY BOUSSELHAM LAGOON

Moulay Bousselham is a small town in the province of Kénitra that is renowned for its lagoon and the Merja Zerga wetland area. The resort is popular nearly exclusively among Moroccans and birdwatchers. The wetland is home to over 100 species of birds, including the flamingo, grey herons, storks, black-winged stilts, African marsh owls, marbled teals, and Red-knobbed coots, among others. Oh, and Moulay Bousselham is a great place to stop for a seafood lunch en route from Tangier to Marrakech. Skip the restaurants and head straight to the local fish market. You can select the fish that will be grilled and served at the grill place in the market.
2 . The SIDI M’BAREK WATERFALLS.
What a location! I often wondered, when in Essaouira, what I could see without driving too far. I was ecstatic to find this breathtaking location, the gorgeous waterfalls of Sidi M’Barek, and the marabout (home of a saint). The waterfalls are located around fifteen minutes south of Essaouira on the road leading to Sidi Kouki. There are minor signs showing your location, but the trail to the waterfalls is unmarked, so be careful to ask a local. The trek to the waterfalls takes approximately 30 minutes. It is an ideal location for a picnic or barbecue. What I enjoy most about this location are the enormous dunes that remind me of the Sahara. Even better, the waterfalls and the ocean are located beneath the dunes!
LALLA TAKERKOUST

Marrakech is surrounded by numerous stunning day-trip destinations. Lalla Takerkoust is one of my favorite places to escape the heat of Marrakech and enjoy the cooling beauty of nature. Lalla Takerkoust is renowned for its gorgeous man-made lake, which was constructed in 1929 to give energy to Marrakech and the surrounding area. After scorching days in Marrakech, the lake is a refreshing oasis; there are few bathing beaches, cafés, and hotels. BHALIL CAVE RESIDENCES
Long ago, I learned about the settlement of Bhalil. Until now, I have never had the opportunity to visit this village. Bhalil, located 30 kilometers from Fez and adjacent to the town of Sefrou, is renowned for its distinctive cave houses. Some of them are still inhabited today. Additionally, Bhalil is notable for its colorful houses and streets.
There are few inhabited cave houses remaining. Locals are gradually migrating from cave dwellings to the modern section of town as a result of modernization. Some of the cave dwellings are accessible to tourists. You need just find a local (unofficial) guide, and he will take you inside the cave dwellings. PLAGE DE MARES DAR IN JEBHA
Beach De Maresdar is a hidden treasure. Located in El Jebha in northern Morocco, halfway between Tetouan and Al Hoceima, this location is almost unknown to tourists and locals alike. The Plage De Mares, which is carved into the rock, is reminiscent of a beach in Indonesia or Thailand. This location is more private and one-of-a-kind due to the fact that the beach can only be reached by small boat from the town at a cost of approximately 100 DH.
MOULAY IDRISS
Moulay Idriss is a Moroccan city located in the north. It is also well familiar to anyone who has visited the nearby archaeological monument Volubilis. Prior to 2005, the holiest city in Morocco did not permit non-Muslims to stay overnight. The village is perched on a hill and surrounded by verdant slopes.
I’ve gone to Moulay Idriss multiple times and have always felt the town’s particular magic. Particularly on cloudier days, when the city is partially obscured by white clouds. Moreover, Moulay Idriss is obsessed with donkeys. They are used to move everything from individuals to produce and furnishings.
7 . IMINIFRI NATURAL BRIDGE
We discovered the Iminifri natural bridge en route to another hidden location on this list, the Bin el Ouidane lake. Approximately 70 kilometers separate the bridge from the famous Ouzoud waterfalls. The over 20-meter-tall Iminifri natural bridge is a stone structure formed by water flowing beneath it. It is not a popular tourist destination and is flanked by a handful of local eateries where we enjoyed a delicious rabbit tagine.
The descent and ascent from the natural bridge are brief and uncomplicated. Make sure to wear comfy footwear. Few locals direct us across the natural bridge. While traversing, take close attention to one of the stone formations that resemble Africa. The similarities are difficult to discern, but locals will assist you.
TINMEL MOSQUE
The 1156-year-old Tinmel mosque is one of the two mosques in Morocco that welcome non-Muslims. About 100 kilometers from Marrakech, the Tinmel mosque is a little-known jewel.
It is no longer in use as a mosque, although tourists are welcome to visit at any time. There you will frequently find an English-speaking guide. Don’t think twice about hiring him for a little history walk (even if you know the history, take the tour to support the locals). SKOURA OASIS

On the road to the Merzouga desert in the Sahara, travelers, and tours frequently spend the night in either Tinghir or Ait Ben Haddou. The Skoura oasis is an alternative option to spending the night or several days. 40 kilometers from Ouarzazate, Skoura is notable for its 50 km2 palm grove maze with olive, almond, and palm trees, as well as its charming local towns. There are a few hotels to choose from, some of which are genuine refuges after a long drive. You can also organize tours of the local villages and oases. Skoura oasis because it is still undiscovered by the majority of tourists and because the Go Local experience makes it unique.

BIN EL OUIDANE LAKE
The lake of Bin el Ouidane is roughly an hour’s drive from the Ouzoud waterfalls in Azilal Province. Built-in the middle of the 20th century, the Bin el Ouidane dam has a height of 1,330 meters and a length of 85 meters. The Bin el Ouidane dam and its surrounds are a haven for individuals searching for peace and tranquility. What to do in Bin el Ouidane lake? Rent a local boat, take the breathtaking scenery, swim, sunbathe, and dine. You can hire a lakeside hotel or, as I did, locate an apartment with a lake view.

The Sahara Desert of Morocco is one of the most highlighted destinations in Morocco.
